Jonathan Higgins and Kaila Brazill

Our Story

In the fall of 2020, Kaila and Jonathan both ended up working at Jimmy John’s in Wenatchee, which is where they met for the first time.
Over the next few months, occasional words were shared between the two, but not many, since they didn’t often work during the same shift.
The new year began, and Kaila learned that Jonathan liked scarves - a piece of information that was very valuable to Kaila, as an avid crocheter.
Soon after, Kaila had completed a green and grey scarf for Jonathan, and she will never forget the look on his face after receiving it as a random gift.
A couple weeks later is when Kaila and Jonathan hung out outside of work for the first time.
Kaila’s favorite place to eat is Wok About Grill, so that is where the two of them went out for dinner.
That is also where Jonathan, an avid chopstick user, decided to bamboozle Kaila into thinking that he did not know how to use chopsticks.
With the most precise instruction, Kaila “taught” Jonathan the way of the chopstick. This is a story that they will tell for ages.
The anniversary of Kaila and Jonathan is January 22nd, 2021, so by the time they are married, it will have been over 5 years of being together.
Kaila and Jonathan spent those 5 years together creating an abundance of memories; they went on many amazing hikes, they went rock climbing, they went to some incredible concerts with great friends, they went on a cruise, they went to the best aerial yoga studio to learn all kinds of crazy cool tricks, they got Noodle (cat/child), and they became best friends.
It was known since the beginning that Kaila and Jonathan would spend their lives together, and the day of the proposal on the beach at sunset just made it even more official.
Kaila and Jonathan cannot wait to become official best friends in front of all their family and friends in May of 2026!
